1st Day: Arrive in Athens – Athens Walking Tour
Upon arrival at Cruise Terminal, our English-speaking chauffeur will meet you and drive you to your booked hotel in the comfort of an air-conditioned luxury Mercedes Benz car.

Your customized walking tour can start at Syntagma Square, where you can visit the monument honoring the fallen soldier and the distinctive “tsolias” guards. See the magnificent Acropolis next. The famous Acropolis monuments, including the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, the Nike Temple, and the surrounding structures, such the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Observatory, and the Philopappos, will all be thoroughly explained to you by your competent, certified guide.
The Acropolis Museum, which houses several archaeological artifacts from the Acropolis, is the final destination. Major attractions, votives, everyday objects, ancient statues, Caryatids, and the Parthenon hall with exhibits from the pediments, metopes, and frieze are all part of the Acropolis Museum. Return to your accommodation early in the afternoon, or continue with an optional sunset tour to Sounio and a relaxing ride down the Athenian Riviera.

2nd Day: Athens – Epidaurus – Mycenae – Nafplion
Check out and after your breakfast, embark to your mainland journey. The drive will start from Athens to the Corinth Canal, where we will take a short break to appreciate the spectacular views. We’ll then travel to Epidaurus to see the stately Ancient Theatre, which is world-renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Mycenae will be our next destination. We’ll see the Cyclopean masonry, the Treasury of Atreus (also known as the Tomb of Agamemnon), and the Lion Gate.
We’ll have some free time for lunch in Nafplio, a lovely and ancient town with an intensive medieval flavor. The tour will end with a walk around Nafplion, before checking in to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

3rd Day: Nafplion – Olympia – Delphi
We will go to ancient Olympia early the following day, the origin of the Olympic Games, an annual event honoring Zeus. You can visit both the Museum of the History of the Ancient Olympic Games and the Archaeological Museum there.We might eat lunch at a classic Greek restaurant before traveling to Rion via Patras, going to Antirion by crossing the Corinthian Bay via the well-known bridge. Travel past the city of Nafpaktos and continue down the seaside route to Delphi, which was formerly referred to as the world’s navel. Visit the charming alpine village of Arachova in the afternoon.

4th Day: Delphi – Meteora
We will spend the entire day in the spiritually charged ancient city of Delphi! You will be able to see the Athenian Treasury, the theater, the stadium, the Temple of Athena Pronea, Tholos, the Temple of Apollo, and Castalia Spring, where Pythia the priestess is supposed to have purified herself before the divinations. The last activity is a trip to the museum. Lunch at a typical local pub is optional before heading to Meteora.
It will be late in the evening when we get to Kalambaka for the night.

5th Day: Kalambaka – Athens
The day will begin with a visit to Meteora, the well-known and magnificent rock formations that are home to a number of monasteries, including Holy Trinity, Varlaam, Roussanou, St. Stephen, and St. Nicolaos Anapafsas. After lunch in Kalambaka, we’ll drive via Thermopylae on our way back to Athens. Here, in 480 BC, Leonidas and his 300 devoted troops valiantly withstood the Persian invasion.
We’ll return to Athens in the late afternoon.

6th Day: Departure from Athens
Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
