Day 1: Arrive in Athens – Athens Walking Tour
Arrival in Athens
Upon your arrival at the Cruise Terminal, an English-speaking chauffeur will greet you and drive you to your hotel in Athens in a luxurious, air-conditioned Mercedes Benz.
In the afternoon, meet your private guide for a walking tour of Athens, crafted to your preferences and interests.
Walking Tour Highlights:
Syntagma Square: Visit the Monument of the Unknown Soldier and watch the ceremonial changing of the guard by the distinctive “tsolias” soldiers.
Acropolis: Ascend the hill to explore the Parthenon, Erechtheion, Nike Temple, and other ancient monuments, with an in-depth explanation from your knowledgeable guide.
Acropolis Museum: Discover the museum’s impressive collection of artifacts from the Acropolis, including ancient statues, votives, Caryatids, and the Parthenon hall displays.
Optionally, continue your tour with a sunset excursion to Sounio, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Athenian Riviera.

Day 2: Athens – Epidaurus – Mycenae – Nafplion
Travel to Epidaurus & Mycenae
After breakfast and check-out, embark on your mainland journey:
Corinth Canal: Stop briefly to admire the stunning views of the famous canal that connects the Aegean Sea to the Ionian Sea.
Epidaurus: Visit the ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, renowned for its incredible acoustics.
Mycenae: Explore the archaeological site of Mycenae, including the Lion Gate, Cyclopean masonry, and the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon).
Lunch in Nafplio: Enjoy free time in this charming town with medieval architecture and stunning views.
In the evening, check into your hotel in Nafplio, a town brimming with history.

Day 3: Nafplion – Olympia – Delphi

Today, visit Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Explore the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of the History of the Ancient Olympic Games.
Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive through Patras and cross the Corinthian Bay via the Rio–Antirrio Bridge, heading towards Delphi.
Before reaching Delphi, stop at the picturesque Arachova, a traditional alpine village.

Day 4: Delphi – Meteora
Explore Delphi’s Ancient Sites
Delve deeper into Delphi, once considered the center of the world. Key sites to visit include the Temple of Apollo, the Athenian Treasury, the Theater, the Stadium, and Castalia Spring. End your visit with a stop at the Delphi Archaeological Museum.
Lunch at a local tavern (optional) before continuing your journey to Meteora.
Arrive in the evening at Kalambaka.

Day 5: Kalambaka – Athens
Visit Meteora’s Monasteries
Begin your day with a visit to Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its dramatic rock formations and the monasteries perched on top of them. Visit iconic monasteries like Holy Trinity, Varlaam, Roussanou, St. Stephen, and St. Nicolaos Anapafsas.
After lunch in Kalambaka, head back to Athens, stopping at the Thermopylae battlefield, where Leonidas and his 300 Spartans made their heroic stand against the Persian army in 480 BC.
Arrive back in Athens in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Departure from Athens
Departure
After breakfast, your private driver will take you to Athens International Airport for your flight back home.
